I'm an autism advocate, here's why

I am an Autism supporter.

My youngest son is Autistic, diagnosed at age 3.

There have been many challenges along the way, but he has amazed us with his dreams and determination. His successes are all the more special, for there have been many hurdles to overcome. He has graduated from high school and now just graduated from college. I've learned much about autism spectrum disorder as a parent. But each child is different. The puzzle piece in the logo signifies the complexity of the autism spectrum. In 2007, while living in Texas, I served on the Governor's Early Childhood Intervention Advisory Committee. In Congress I will work hard to represent Autistic, and other special needs communities. School choice is key to helping student achieve to their fullest
